TL;DR
Senior Manager, Business Performance Analytics (Healthcare): Evaluating organizational performance and transforming complex healthcare, financial, and operational data into actionable insights with an accent on enterprise reporting, dashboards, and strategic analysis. Focus on investigating root causes, monitoring performance against strategic objectives, and informing executive decision-making across finance, actuarial, operations, and healthcare functions.

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home each week.

Base pay: $102,000–$184,300 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

  • Evaluate, monitor, and improve organizational performance through data-driven analysis.
  • Transform complex financial and operational data into actionable insights for enterprise leadership.
  • Develop and deliver performance reports, dashboards, and strategic analyses for senior and executive leaders.
  • Investigate root causes, identify financial opportunities and operational risks, and track emerging business issues.
  • Partner with Finance, Actuarial, Operations, Network Management, Healthcare Management, Underwriting, Product, and other functions.
  • Lead cross-functional projects, support problem resolution, and influence decisions that improve business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in healthcare services, statistical or financial analysis, financial consulting, or insurance industry economics, including 4 years of healthcare data analysis and reporting.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar tools, including report design.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Current or future visa sponsorship is not available; candidates requiring H-1B, TN, OPT, CPT, or other employment-based sponsorship are not eligible.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics.
  • Extensive health insurance industry experience and strong financial acumen.
  • Experience with Tableau.
  • Six Sigma certification.
