Programme Manager - Finance Ops Transformation (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Lead large-scale Finance Operations transformation programmes comprising multiple interdependent projects and workstreams.
• Define target operating models, redesign end-to-end processes, and identify opportunities for simplification, standardisation, automation and improved control.
• Establish programme governance, lead steering and executive forums, and manage cross-programme dependencies, risks, resources and delivery constraints.
• Define and track business cases, programme budgets, benefits baselines, benefits ownership and financial performance.
• Integrate communications, training, organisational change, operational readiness and adoption into programme delivery.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary programme team, communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders, and mentor colleagues in programme methodology.

Requirements

• End-to-end leadership experience for complex transformation programmes.
• Experience in financial services transformation, regulated and controlled environments, programme mobilisation and business-case development.
• Experience with programme financial management, executive and sponsor engagement, benefits realisation and business adoption.
• Ability to deliver across multiple functions and locations, manage senior stakeholders, facilitate complex workshops and influence executive decision-making.
• Strong organisational, planning, analytical, problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
• Degree or equivalent professional experience; PRINCE2, MSP, PMP or an equivalent qualification is preferred.

• Finance or Financial Operations transformation experience.
• Process re-engineering experience.
• AI-enabled transformation or intelligent automation experience.
• Big Four or equivalent consulting experience.
