Senior Solution Engineer (PropTech)

Location: Remote - USA. Approximately 15–25% travel is required, including at least two annual visits to the Nashville office for employees based outside the Nashville area.

Salary: $135,000–$150,000 USD per year plus commission, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the technical evaluation phase for owner and developer prospects, from discovery through solution validation.
• Analyze and redesign pre-development, construction, draw management, reporting, integration, and data workflows in Built’s platform.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations and explain operational, financial, and risk-reduction benefits to executive, finance, and operational stakeholders.
• Build ROI-based financial models that quantify customer value and business impact.
• Support implementation and post-go-live resolution of complex workflow, reporting, and integration challenges.
• Partner with Sales, Product & Engineering, and Client Success on product positioning, enablement, reporting enhancements, and industry thought leadership.

Requirements

• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and explain complex systems and workflows.
• Experience in sales engineering, pre-sales, or consultative SaaS roles.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective product demonstrations for varied audiences and decision-makers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups.
• Knowledge of real estate development and construction finance, including financial controls, draw processes, reporting, risk management, and compliance.
• Experience with ERP or construction management platforms such as Yardi, Sage, QuickBooks Online, MRI, Procore, Sage Intacct / Construction, or Autodesk Construction Cloud is preferred.
