Back Plant Operator

Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA; on-site industrial facility work

Salary: $22.79–$30.34 per hour

What you will do

• Operate designated industrial equipment and use hand and power tools for assigned facility tasks.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and document findings according to facility procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and submit repair requests through established work order processes.
• Use weekly activity books and critical-item checklists to complete operational checks.
• Safely perform lock-out/tag-out procedures in support of maintenance teams.
• Support safe, efficient, and environmentally sound facility operations through additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• Experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
• Ability to qualify for and wear a full-face respirator.
