Fuel Operations Shift Supervisor (Waste Management)

Location: West Wareham, Massachusetts, USA; onsite role with rotating day and night shifts supporting seven-day operations

Salary: $97,481–$134,010 per year

What you will do

• Supervise fuel-side operations and approximately 7–14 employees during assigned shifts.
• Monitor shredders, rail tipper operations, tipping floor activities, metals processing, and related equipment for safe and efficient performance.
• Manage fuel quality, operating schedules, production priorities, housekeeping, hammer turns, and hammer changes.
• Serve as Fuel Control Line Authority, prepare Work Clearance Permits, and review service requests and operator logs.
• Use the computerized maintenance management system to review equipment history and manage corrective and preventive maintenance work orders.
• Lead safety meetings, operator training, shift relief transitions, coaching, performance feedback, and resolution of operational issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. from a recognized state education institution.
• Successful completion of facility qualifying standards for Operations Fuel Supervisor and all required technical training.
• Ability to apply safety programs and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Hot Work.
• Ability to interpret process flow diagrams, blueprints, technical manuals, and written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team-motivation skills.
• Working knowledge of maintenance management systems; prior supervisory experience is preferred.
