Senior/Lead Operations Turnaround Coordinator

Location: Onsite in Martinez, California, Monday–Thursday, 10-hour days; after-hours calls and TAR/outage support are required. Core business hours are 6 AM–4 PM.

Salary: $122,900–$212,000 annually.

What you will do

• Ensure site compliance with the operations turnaround planning process across all area teams.
• Coordinate planning and execution between Operations, Maintenance, Products Control, Technical Service, and Turnaround groups.
• Represent the site on the Operations TAR Planning Network and share turnaround planning best practices.
• Train and mentor planners throughout the planning and execution process.
• Develop and maintain the site Plan of the Plan, coordinate critical path value optimization workshops, and lead refinery sequence planning.
• Establish contractor requirements and confirm detailed shutdown and startup timelines in scheduling software.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED plus at least 7 years of refinery operations experience, including 1 year as an Operations TAR/Outage Coordinator, Planner, or Supervisor; or a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering plus 4 years of refinery operations experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to wear refinery PPE, including a respirator, perform field tasks, complete a hair drug test, and pass a physical examination.
• Valid driver’s license and no more than 5% travel.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without future visa sponsorship.
• Must be able to work the required onsite schedule and provide after-hours TAR and outage support.
