Simulator Technician I (Aviation)

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, pre-flight and post-flight inspections, visual alignments, and routine technical tasks on flight simulators and associated systems.
• Execute automatic Qualification Test Guides (QTGs), verify results, and record maintenance activities in the CMMS.
• Assist with simulator modifications, hardware upgrades, refurbishment projects, repairs, testing, and validation.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve simulator, electronic, computer, mechanical, and related system issues.
• Maintain simulator facilities and equipment, support logistics activities, and provide technical support and customer service.
• Complete assigned technical training and qualification programs while following QMS procedures.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance, avionics, electrical or electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, IT, or a related technical field.
• 0–4 years of relevant experience, including experience with aircraft or flight simulator maintenance and support.
• Knowledge of analog and digital electronics, electrical and electronic systems, computer hardware and operating systems, and technical documentation.
• Ability to read system diagrams, engineering drawings, schematics, maintenance manuals, SOPs, and AMMs; strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and logic analyzers, plus soldering and circuit board repair skills.
• Fluency in English and Korean is required; basic English reading must be sufficient to understand technical manuals, logbooks, and business emails.
