Lottery Field Service Technician

Location: VA Statewide, Virginia, United States; fieldwork at retailer locations in South Hill, Virginia.

Salary: $20.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Transport, install, maintain, and organize lottery equipment, replacement parts, tools, and supplies.
• Service equipment at retailer locations through regular fieldwork and driving.
• Troubleshoot failures, replace defective equipment, clean components, and make minor adjustments to restore operation.
• Communicate with dispatchers and accurately report arrival times, service activity, problems, and resolutions.
• Deliver supplies and consumable parts, track inventory, and train retailers on basic equipment procedures.
• Complete service, equipment problem, and process improvement reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of customer service experience and one year of technical repair experience.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and correct color perception.
• Ability to climb ladders, lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, and drive for prolonged periods.
• Ability to work with tools, moving parts, and electrical current, including at heights, in close quarters, and in inclement weather.
