Senior Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance

Location: Onsite at 1505 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, Florida, United States

Salary: $33.00–$63.00 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and major or minor repairs on facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
• Use blueprints, manuals, parts catalogs, hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
• Lead and train technician associates while overseeing work quality and compliance with safety requirements.
• Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, parts inventory, contractor relationships, and related documentation.
• Operate heavy machinery, material-handling equipment, and company vehicles according to safety and regulatory requirements.
• Compile budget and warranty information and ensure work meets federal, state, local, OSHA, EPA, and company standards.

Requirements

• Vocational or technical certification plus 3 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material-handling equipment, or a related area, or 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs using multiple craft skills, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Experience leading and mentoring technicians, providing hands-on training, and overseeing work quality.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record must meet the stated requirements, including no recent DUI, DWI, OUI, serious traffic violations, or preventable commercial-vehicle accidents.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and material-handling equipment in accordance with certification and safety procedures.

• Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
