Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance (Facilities Maintenance)

Location: Stockton, California, United States; onsite at a Walmart Supercenter

Salary: $29.00–$56.00 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour and an additional bonus disclosed during the interview process.

What you will do

• Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, fixtures, and store assets using multiple craft skills.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment repairs.
• Receive reactive work orders through the work order management system and document repair activities.
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Complete required safety training and use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely.

Requirements

• Must work onsite at the Stockton, California facility.
• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical certification and two years of relevant experience, or four years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related trade.
• Valid state-issued driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, frequently use ladders and work at heights, stand or sit for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.
• Commercial driving records must meet requirements for DUI/DWI/OUI convictions, moving violations, preventable accidents, and serious traffic violations.

Nice to have

• Completion of a two-year vocational or technical trade program.
• Related trade license in the city or state where the position is located.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and office software.
