(USA) Senior Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance

Location: West Branch, Michigan, United States

Hourly wage: $33.00–$63.00 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, fixtures, and assets using multiple trade skills.
• Perform work involving plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment.
• Receive reactive repair work orders, document completed work, and support stores and associates through the work order management system.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, and test equipment and fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training and use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and other equipment safely.

Requirements

• Vocational or technical certification plus 5 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related trade; alternatively, 7 years of relevant trade experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record; eligibility for a Commercial Driver's License is required.
• At least 1 year of experience using intermediate word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., frequently use ladders, and work at heights.

Nice to have

• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
