Summer 2027 Industrial Engineering Intern - Bachelor's

What you will do

• Support engineering and operations teams with data collection, analysis, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis.
• Create and maintain reports, presentations, documentation, and visual summaries using Microsoft Office.
• Analyze operational and engineering data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
• Develop or enhance simple Python scripts to automate repetitive data processing and reporting tasks.
• Document business processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
• Support cross-functional project teams by organizing data, preparing status reports, and tracking action items.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, California throughout the internship period.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint through coursework, projects, internships, or extracurricular activities.
• Basic programming knowledge in Python and SQL, with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Interest in data analysis, process improvement, and engineering operations.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with engineering, manufacturing, or operations-related data.
• Basic AI prompt engineering skills and experience with GenAI tools such as Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT.
