A&T Technician I (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY / East Aurora, New York, Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:00pm

Salary: $22.00–$27.00 per hour, plus a 10% second-shift differential

What you will do

• Assemble hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical valves, actuators, systems, and complex sub-assemblies.
• Perform high-reliability soldering and wire-crimping operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies.
• Use electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools, cleaning devices, and hydraulic stands.
• Read and work from drawings, worksheets, parts lists, and other technical documentation.
• Perform diagnostic rework and repairs on units that do not meet test requirements.
• Carry out testing using defined procedures and support repairs normally run with production units.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a related technical field.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions or training in English.
• Ability to perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to work onsite in Buffalo/East Aurora, New York, on the second shift.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required for this position.
