What you will do

• Design, test, check out, fabricate, modify, troubleshoot, and assemble electro-mechanical systems, prototype circuitry, specialized test equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and subsystems at both system and component levels.
• Perform new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, mechanical and electrical testing, and pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and written or verbal descriptions.
• Maintain logbooks and test-procedure documentation, assist with department procedures, and generate Quality Notifications.
• Perform rework, help identify remedies for malfunctions, and follow manufacturing, engineering, safety, and security procedures.

Requirements

• Proficiency in a range of analytical processes and procedures for assigned technical tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems using established procedures and precedents.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including extended standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, working in tight spaces, and lifting.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and use required personal protective equipment, including coveralls, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time and provide informal guidance to junior team members.
