CW- Engineering Technician II

Salary: $21.50–$29.20 per hour

What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, subsystems, components, prototypes, specialized test equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Perform new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and quality notifications.
• Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on semiconductor manufacturing platforms.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and written or verbal instructions.
• Compile logbooks and test procedure documentation while following engineering, manufacturing, and safety specifications.

Requirements

• Developed analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical work-area problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions involving prolonged standing, walking, tight spaces, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and reaching.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work in environments with potentially high noise levels.
• Work in a clean room may require personal protective equipment, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
