Staff Pharmacist

Location: Salem, Virginia, United States; onsite at Walmart Supercenter 01309.

Salary: $98,000–$172,000 annually for a 40-hour/week schedule, prorated for different schedules. Additional annual or quarterly performance bonuses may apply.

What you will do

• Provide pharmaceutical care, process prescriptions, and accurately dispense medications.
• Counsel customers on healthcare and prescription medication needs.
• Administer immunizations and other Walmart pharmacy programs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, HIPAA, PHI guidelines, and applicable regulations.
• Model effective customer service and guide pharmacy staff.
• Support community outreach and patient wellbeing initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE through NABP.
• Pharmacy license required by the job entry date.
• Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program.
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and partners and address varied patient needs.
