General Manager (Retail)

Location: Commerce, California, United States; in-store role with availability for days, nights, weekends, holidays, and at least two closing shifts per week

Salary: $31.50–$40.50 per hour, based on experience and location

What you will do

• Lead two or more retail stores and direct the Leader on Duty program across multiple locations.
• Build talent pipelines, recruit employees, and develop succession plans through training and coaching.
• Create a positive, safe, inclusive environment and improve employee engagement.
• Lead customer service, loyalty program adoption, product education, and customer-focused sales floor execution.
• Execute merchandising and operational direction while managing payroll, budgets, and loss-prevention controls.
• Analyze KPIs, identify performance-driving behaviors, and deliver a seamless omni-channel experience.

Requirements

• At least five years of retail or related management experience leading direct reports.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, delegation, and multitasking skills.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills and a positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency with computers and technology, including Outlook, Excel, and web navigation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, climb ladders, and perform frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
