Junior Structural Design Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model when possible.

What you will do

• Design and validate metallic, composite, and hybrid structural components and assemblies.
• Optimize structures for weight, cost, performance, production, assembly, and product safety.
• Support the complete aircraft lifecycle using modern design tools and software.
• Collaborate with stress, systems engineering, aerodynamics, maintainability, purchasing, manufacturing engineering, and production stakeholders.
• Provide technical solutions, follow up with design suppliers, and support non-conformity resolution, repairs, and design modifications.
• Contribute to structural technology development and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Engineering background with a focus on structural design.
• Experience with metallic and composite technologies applied to aircraft design.
• Advanced English and Spanish.
• Ability to interface with stress, aerodynamics, systems design, and maintainability stakeholders.
• Entry-level profile with approximately 1–5 years of relevant experience.
