Electrical Installation Senior Design Engineer (Aerospace): Designing electrical wiring interconnection systems, harnesses, mechanical supports, and electromechanical installations for Eurofighter future capabilities with an accent on CATIA-based routing, electrical diagram integration, and cross-functional aerospace development. Focus on defining complex onboard installations, coordinating structural and manufacturing requirements, and managing configuration-controlled technical documentation across the product lifecycle.
Location: Getafe Area, Spain; hybrid working model when possible.

What you will do
- Define design dossiers for Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems, including wiring diagrams and electrical harnesses.
- Design mechanical supports, bracketry, and complex electromechanical installations for onboard equipment and electrical boxes.
- Use CATIA V5/V6-3DX and electrical diagram tools to model, trace, and integrate electrical routing.
- Collaborate with international engineering stakeholders across systems analysis, configuration, structural design, manufacturing, and in-service support.
- Manage technical documentation, configuration control, and design changes throughout the product development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- More than 5 years of engineering experience, specifically in a design or airframe department.
- Strong background in electrical or electromechanical design.
- Knowledge of CATIA V5; CATIA V6/3DX and electrical diagram tools such as See-XP or Capital Logic are desirable.
- Advanced English and Spanish as a mother tongue are required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-organization, adaptability, and the ability to work in a networked environment.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of German or Italian.
- Experience with CATIA V6/3DX and electrical diagram tools.
