Hydraulics & Actuation Systems Engineer (Military Derivatives)

Location: Getafe Area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model when possible.

What you will do

• Coordinate internal and external work packages, program planning, and development plans for actuation and hydraulic systems.
• Define system architectures and designs for Large Weapon Bay actuation, ATA29 hydraulics, and EO/IR lift systems.
• Manage technical interfaces with flight physics, airframe, control and monitoring, safety, and certification teams.
• Specify actuation equipment, lead supplier selection, and coordinate supplier activities.
• Define system and installation requirements, including rigging, and establish system-level validation and verification strategies.
• Run overall system simulations and support test definition across laboratories, ground tests, and flight tests.

Requirements

• Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in aircraft systems engineering, program management, or team coordination.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, mechanical systems, aircraft certification processes, and validation and verification testing.
• Advanced written and spoken English and Spanish required.
• Adaptability to work on new topics, new business areas, and in a networking environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Airbus commercial or Defence and Space procedures.
• Program management experience.
