Machining Tech - Swing Shift (CNC Manufacturing)

Location: Oregon City HQ, United States; onsite production-floor role on the swing shift

What you will do

• Operate assigned manual, CNC, automated, and other manufacturing equipment according to standard work and process control instructions.
• Produce high-quality knife components while meeting production, quality, and performance metrics.
• Perform in-process inspections, quality checks, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Complete production documentation, including Manufacturing Execution System entries.
• Follow manufacturing safety requirements, use required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Participate in training, cross-training, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, travelers, and standard work instructions.
• Basic math skills and proficiency with inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work around dust, noise, oils, coolants, abrasives, adhesives, temperature fluctuations, and automated and manual machinery.

Nice to have

• Certificate in Manufacturing Technology or a similar program.
• Familiarity with Haas, Fanuc, and Berger control systems.
• Experience with precision inspection tools, including dial indicators and refractometers.
• Knowledge of Cartesian coordinates, G-code, fixture setup and verification, and basic GD&T.
