Machinist - 1st

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global CDI facility in Avon, Ohio

What you will do

• Set up, load, and operate CNC machines for production and non-production jobs.
• Follow process routing documents and perform documented inspections.
• Perform manual deburring, daily equipment maintenance, and end-of-shift workspace cleaning.
• Complete reports, records, and associated production paperwork.
• Communicate with supervisors, management, quality personnel, and shop operators to resolve machining and quality issues.
• Follow quality management system procedures and safeguard company, customer, and supplier property.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience with vertical or horizontal CNC milling.
• Availability for 1st shift.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
• Experience with drilling, turning, tapping, vertical and horizontal machines, inspection, and basic mathematics.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
