Associate Machinist (CNC)

Location: West Carrollton, Ohio, United States; 3rd shift, on-site

What you will do

• Assist with basic CNC machine setup and ensure machine tools match the tool list.
• Load and unload parts and produce precision metal components from work orders, blueprints, GD&T specifications, sketches, and instructions.
• Inspect finished workpieces using CMMs, calipers, micrometers, comparators, and vision systems.
• Make basic tool adjustments and identify or repair minor machine malfunctions.
• Enter production information into the Camstar manufacturing execution system and submit machine status reports.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while working with production personnel to resolve basic machining problems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Typically less than one year of related experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints with GD&T.
• Ability to work with the team to maintain a safe and friendly working environment and complete scheduled work on time.
• Ability to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities are required, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
