Electrical Engineering Intern (PCB)

Location: Syracuse, NY, United States

Salary: $51,621–$81,595 per year, with a possible annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium for eligible positions.

What you will do

• Design, simulate, and evaluate analog and digital electrical circuits.
• Collaborate with interns, technicians, and engineers on program tasks.
• Perform design-release reviews and prepare presentations for gated design reviews.
• Review manufacturing approaches and assess limitations against current designs.
• Identify and evaluate new components for electrical designs.
• Use CAD software to implement and review circuit layouts.

Requirements

• Majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Basic understanding and strong interest in analog and digital electronics.
• Experience with SPICE circuit simulation and ModelSim logic simulation using VHDL or Verilog.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, with strong analytical, communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Must comply with US export-control requirements, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC policies; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents.

Nice to have

• Microelectronics coursework.
• PCB design experience using Altium.
