Systems Engineer Intern (UWB/RF)

What you will do

• Define, analyze, document, and validate system-level requirements.
• Support technical coordination, reviews, testing, and action-item follow-up across teams.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and validation stakeholders.
• Develop Python-based scripts to automate measurements, control test equipment, and collect test data.
• Support laboratory testing and characterization of UWB devices, antennas, and wireless system components.
• Prepare reports, specifications, and project records for traceability.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Basic programming experience in Python and interest in test automation, data analysis, or instrument control.
• Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and communicate technical ideas clearly.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills required.
• To qualify for the summer 2027 internship, candidates must return to school or graduate at the conclusion of the internship.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience from laboratory work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions.
• Exposure to RF, wireless systems, antennas, or laboratory test equipment.
• Familiarity with engineering, design, verification, programming, or laboratory tools.
