Electronics Design Engineering Intern (Clean Energy)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Salary: $30–$60 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Contribute to product-level features, design vision, and development of home energy products.
• Design and develop digital electronics, analog electronics, and power supplies for home energy system components.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, EMC, RF, design validation, thermal, compliance, reliability, and manufacturing test engineers.
• Perform bring-up and debugging of new circuit boards.
• Support product development from concept through high-volume production.

Requirements

• Major in Electrical Engineering or equivalent evidence of exceptional ability.
• Solid understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Understanding of analog and digital circuit design for sensing, communication, and power applications.
• Experience bringing up electronics designs with mixed analog and digital signals.
• Familiarity with laboratory testing tools and equipment for electrical engineering tests.

Nice to have

• Experience with Altium or a similar ECAD tool.
• Direct PCB design experience.
