What you will do

• Repair, upgrade, modify, and verify components of complex automated and logic-controlled electronic or electromechanical equipment.
• Use advanced diagnostic techniques and perform complex malfunction analysis to the component level.
• Improvise circuits and equipment to meet special requirements.
• Set up, operate, and adjust complex instrumentation.
• Perform calibrations traceable to the National Bureau of Standards.
• Work independently on assigned projects and communicate findings through training and documentation.

Requirements

• Currently completing a BS degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on electronics.
• Returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the summer 2027 internship.
• Fundamental knowledge of AC and DC electronics, plus analog, digital, and RF electronics.
• Moderate circuit design abilities and experience with complex instrumentation.
• Mechanical knowledge including pneumatics, hydraulics, fluidics, and safe working procedures.
• Root-cause problem-solving, organization, collaboration, communication, and the ability to work independently.
