Assurance Senior Associate - Insurance

Location: Tampa, United States; consistent onsite presence at a firm office and travel to client sites required

Salary: $67,900–$128,200 per year, plus discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Execute audit engagements for insurance company clients from planning through completion.
• Perform audit testing and assist with financial statement preparation.
• Review workpapers and apply US GAAP, US GAAS, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Support client service delivery while maintaining quality standards.
• Manage multiple priorities and projects, meet deadlines, and mentor staff.
• Communicate with firm personnel and clients across in-person, telephone, and written channels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Active CPA license or demonstrated progress toward CPA licensure in the state of residence.
• 2–3 years of recent assurance experience in public accounting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and auditing software tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to maintain consistent onsite presence, regularly report to the firm office, and travel to client sites with reliable transportation.
