Audit Senior Manager (Financial Services)

Location: San Francisco, California, USA; hybrid work arrangement. Compensation locations also include Walnut Creek and Rancho Cordova, California.

Salary: $173,000–$231,870 in San Francisco; $162,200–$222,960 in Walnut Creek; $142,400–$195,350 in Rancho Cordova.

What you will do

• Deliver audit, assurance, and consulting services to financial services clients.
• Build client relationships by understanding business goals and addressing accounting and operational challenges.
• Develop and implement testing to evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Manage audit fieldwork, engagement staffing, billings, collections, quality, and timely delivery.
• Provide financial statement guidance, business recommendations, and analytical insights.
• Develop new client relationships while mentoring and coaching audit team members.

Requirements

• Four-year degree required; a master's or advanced degree is preferred.
• CPA certification required.
• Eight years of auditing or assurance experience in a professional services firm required.
• Five years of supervisory, mentoring, and counseling experience desired.
• Demonstrated management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is preferred.

• Experience serving financial institutions, capital markets organizations, or public companies.
