Field Specialist (Oil and Gas)

Location: Keene, North Dakota, United States; 95% field time and 5% desk time. Relocation benefits are not available, and international assignments are not considered.

What you will do

• Operate and monitor upstream production and midstream distribution or storage equipment, including start-up, shutdown, process controls, and flow management.
• Monitor equipment performance, provide first-level response, troubleshoot issues, and support well and facility optimization.
• Maintain accurate production, injection, maintenance, and regulatory records using digital tools, SAP, ODR, and related production software.
• Support equipment maintenance and repairs, including SPCC, LDAR, routine, frontline, corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Follow safe work practices, manage permits and PPE, document incidents and spills, and participate in risk assessments, PHA, MOC reviews, and response meetings.
• Collaborate with operations teams, complete shift handoffs, identify OPEX savings, and participate in training, coaching, and mentoring.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Industrial or oilfield experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft tools and SAP.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of safety requirements and practices.
• Good communication skills.
