Location: Deadhorse, Alaska, United States; onsite work in arctic conditions. The schedule is a 14-day on, 14-day off rotation with 12-hour shifts, plus availability for emergency questions and participation in the location's emergency response team.

What you will do
- Monitor and operate wells, pumps, compressors, valves, tanks, vessels, separators, reboilers, gas lift systems, and chemical systems.
- Gauge and record pressure, meter readings, flow rates, tank levels, test results, and process adjustments.
- Inspect pipelines, valves, flanges, and other equipment for leaks, wear, malfunctions, and safety issues; perform basic tightening, lubrication, and sealing work.
- Collect and test oil, gas, water, chemical, and other product samples for quality and integrity.
- Complete daily, monthly, safety-critical, regulatory, pipeline surveillance, spill inspection, compressor, dehydration, and flare reports.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies, shut down equipment when directed, implement spill-prevention procedures, and report leaks or defective equipment.
Requirements
- At least two years of oilfield operator experience.
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to operate the facility with limited supervision, recognize non-standard conditions, anticipate problems, and recommend solutions.
- Ability to work in arctic conditions and on a 14-day on/14-day off, 12-hour shift schedule.
- Basic mathematics, mechanical, and computer skills, with the ability to maintain accurate operational records.
- Ability to work effectively with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public while prioritizing safety.
