Director, Real World Evidence (RWE)

Location: California — Remote/Home-Based; US-based candidates only

Salary: $204,000–$306,000 annual base pay, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop real-world evidence strategies for one or more products in collaboration with internal partners.
• Lead the design and execution of studies using administrative claims data, electronic medical records, and patient charts.
• Develop research protocols and contribute to statistical analysis plans.
• Provide RWE leadership across health economics, outcomes research, medical affairs, and clinical development teams.
• Assess real-world data assets and establish data curation, licensing, and platform plans.
• Communicate findings to internal stakeholders, regulators, health technology assessment bodies, and scientific communities.

Requirements

• US-based candidate eligible for a remote/home-based role in California.
• PhD in epidemiology or a related discipline with research experience.
• Experience analyzing healthcare claims databases and electronic medical records.
• Experience designing, collecting, and analyzing real-world evidence using claims data, EMRs, and patient charts.
• Knowledge of US and global healthcare delivery systems, including payers and reimbursement models.
• Strong analytical, strategic, communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience using big data analytical platforms.

• Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry or provider/payer organizations.
• Peer-reviewed scientific publications demonstrating expertise in real-world evidence.
• Experience developing innovative approaches to product differentiation.
