Maintenance Technician I (B Shift) (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Jackson, Tennessee, United States. B Shift: Thursday–Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., plus every other Wednesday, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

Pay: $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Diagnose equipment failures and perform complex emergency, unscheduled, and preventative repairs.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain distribution center facility and production equipment to OEM standards.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Read equipment manuals, work orders, electrical schematics, and prints to complete maintenance work.
• Operate forklifts, order selectors, pallet jacks, floor sweepers, and other motorized equipment as needed.
• Maintain equipment documentation, report unusual conditions, and follow safety and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of technician experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or equivalent directly related education.
• Understanding of facility electrical wiring, power distribution, mechanical functions, AC/DC control wiring, relay logic, and PLCs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including servo, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of INFOR-EAM or a comparable maintenance management system.
