Executive Director, TechOps Alliance and Strategic Partnerships (Biotechnology)

Location: Waltham, Massachusetts; remote work is available with periodic onsite visits required.

Base pay range: $260,000–$305,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Lead the strategy, governance, and operating models for TechOps alliances and strategic partnerships.
• Coordinate planning and execution across Manufacturing, Technical Development, Supply Chain, Quality, Development, and related functions.
• Define partnership objectives, performance metrics, budgets, contractual commitments, milestones, and business outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate strategic, operational, supply, quality, financial, and relationship risks.
• Provide executive leadership with concise updates, recommendations, and visibility into alliance health, delivery, risks, and resource needs.
• Drive alignment, issue resolution, and continuous improvement across matrixed internal and external organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required; an MS, MBA, or PhD is preferred.
• 18+ years of relevant pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience or equivalent.
• 10+ years of management or functional leadership experience, including 5+ years in alliance management within Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Technical Operations, or a related area.
• Deep expertise in alliance governance, strategic partnerships, performance management, and execution through external organizations.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and multiple concurrent workstreams in a matrixed environment.
• Strong knowledge of biopharmaceutical development from late-stage development through commercialization, including manufacturing, supply, and launch readiness.
