Warehouse and Logistics Manager - International

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY; hybrid with staff expected to be in an office at least 25% of the time. Travel to warehouse and data center sites in the US is required as needed.

Salary: $405,000–$485,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations across international locations, including receiving, inspection, storage, cycle counting, kitting, and outbound fulfillment.
• Own inventory accuracy, asset tracking, and chain of custody for infrastructure hardware, compute equipment, spares, and consumables.
• Plan domestic and international freight, select carriers, manage schedules, and resolve shipment delays, damage, and shortages.
• Manage third-party logistics providers, carriers, and freight forwarders, including onboarding, service levels, performance reviews, and costs.
• Coordinate with data center operations, hardware engineering, procurement, and security teams on deployment timelines and site readiness.
• Build operating procedures, controls, metrics, reverse-logistics processes, and capacity plans while maintaining safety, hazardous-materials, export-control, and customs compliance.

Requirements

• Experience managing warehouse or logistics operations for physical goods, including receiving, inventory control, and outbound shipping.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse or inventory management systems and spreadsheet-based inventory and shipment analysis.
• Experience managing third-party logistics providers or carriers and negotiating and enforcing service levels.
• Working knowledge of LTL, FTL, parcel freight, and related documentation.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory requirements for IT or electronic equipment, including lithium-battery hazardous-materials rules.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience; strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center or enterprise IT hardware, international freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or export controls such as EAR.
• Experience with secure chain-of-custody programs, asset tagging, device sanitization or destruction, and warehouse staff management.
• Familiarity with ERP, procurement, lean, Six Sigma, or continuous-improvement systems.
• Forklift certification or experience overseeing material-handling equipment operations.
