Senior Application Engineer (FCCL)

What you will do

• Engage with customers and the value chain in consumer electronics and data center sectors to define requirements and deliver design-phase solutions.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support for laminate materials used in flex and rigid PCB applications, including troubleshooting and rapid issue resolution.
• Collaborate with business teams, internal stakeholders, and external PCB fabricators to transition technologies from proof of concept to mass production.
• Support customer qualification processes and participate in new product development by communicating industrial trends and unmet field needs to R&D.
• Lead or contribute to multiple projects, develop technical solutions, drive technology adoption, and create innovations based on tested methods.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience, preferably in consumer electronics or PCB manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English.
• In-depth knowledge of laminate materials, PCB design, and flex and rigid board manufacturing processes.
• Experience collaborating with international, multidisciplinary, and cross-geographic teams.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and project collaboration skills.
