Application Competence Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Shanghai, China; requires customer-site support, travel within China, and on-call or shift work in the customer environment.

What you will do

• Support critical application escalations locally and coordinate third-line support to deliver solutions on time.
• Introduce new hirify.global products to customers and demonstrate their on-product benefits.
• Identify product improvement opportunities and support business development activities.
• Work with hirify.global D&E and customer R&D teams to define solution roadmaps for semiconductor technology.
• Own workstreams in NTP projects, including planning with customers and execution.
• Document structural issues and best-known methods, roll them out across sites, and help develop local expertise.

Requirements

• Master's degree in physics, optical science or engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, electrical engineering, materials science, or mathematics.
• Semiconductor process knowledge.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for working with internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Flexibility to support escalations, new product introduction, and NTP projects in a matrix organization.
• Ability to work under pressure and support customers across China.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under applicable United States Export Administration Regulations before starting work.
