Injection Molding Technician II

Location: Baldwin Park, California, United States; onsite

Salary: $30–$38 per hour

What you will do

• Set up, start up, and monitor injection molds and auxiliary equipment.
• Operate and troubleshoot chillers, mold heaters, hot runner controllers, automation EOAT, sprue pickers, robots, and material drying and delivery systems.
• Improve cycle times and optimize machine performance.
• Program robots and create maintenance work orders for auxiliary equipment issues.
• Complete manufacturing documentation in the ERP system.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience performing similar injection molding responsibilities.
• Knowledge of scientific molding methods and process troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of injection molding machinery and electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems.
• Advanced knowledge of mold temperature controllers, hot runner controllers, sprue pickers, robots, hydraulic core pull systems, safety limit switches, and valve gate systems.
• Experience with mold setup, standard tools and methods, part blueprints, and Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice to have

• LSR or medical molding experience.
