Lead Associate - Product Owner (AI)

What you will do

• Define and evolve product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and one or more product backlogs.
• Translate customer needs and complex requirements into problem statements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and design intent.
• Lead discovery activities including interviews, workshops, process observation, and user shadowing.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams, developers, UX designers, QA engineers, business functions, and client stakeholders throughout delivery.
• Guide Agile ceremonies and support product delivery from discovery through release, optimisation, and benefits realisation.
• Mentor Associate Product Owners and contribute to product practices, frameworks, quality standards, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Lead Associate - Product Owner in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of product management, business analysis, architectural practices, and Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to create user stories and acceptance criteria, break down complex problems, and prioritise using data and customer insight.
• Experience with user-centred design, UI/UX collaboration, wireframing, or prototyping.
• Leadership, mentoring, communication, stakeholder management, and client relationship skills.
• Exposure to software engineering concepts such as .NET, Python, or Java, plus cloud fundamentals including Azure or AWS.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting AI, digital transformation, or modernisation programmes.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, engineering workflows, and cloud delivery environments.
