Senior Director of Product Management (AI)

Location: San Francisco or New York with hub-hybrid attendance two days per week, or US Remote in eligible U.S. states

Salary: $235,000–$300,000 USD base salary per year, excluding equity and benefits

What you will do

• Lead, coach, develop, and grow the product management team and product analyst.
• Own roadmap and execution reviews, planning cycles, prioritization, and the product-engineering-design triad model.
• Define and raise the standard for product management craft across discovery, scoping, delivery, and organizational influence.
• Develop team-wide AI fluency and practices for prototyping, analysis, PRD creation, updates, and code contributions.
• Partner with engineering, design, and product marketing leadership to improve operating quality and delivery predictability.
• Translate company and product strategy into aligned roadmaps, measurable outcomes, and executable plans.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience and at least 5 years leading and developing high-performing PM teams, including lead- or principal-level PMs.
• Strategic product leadership experience connecting decisions, trade-offs, metrics, and impact models to business outcomes.
• Experience building teams that execute effectively and raising standards for product management practices.
• A clear point of view on how AI is changing product management, with evidence of applying AI in personal and team workflows.
• Experience with B2B or enterprise software for professional users, including complex workflows and high data-quality expectations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, comfort with ambiguity, and a direct, trust-building leadership style.

Nice to have

• Experience in private capital, financial services, or another domain where relationships and data are core to the product.
