Design Specialist (Interior Design)

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona, United States. Store-based position with in-home consultations and off-site trade meetings as needed; weekend and holiday availability is required.

What you will do

• Deliver personalized design consultations and drive sales through solutions tailored to client needs.
• Build relationships with clients, trade professionals, and the local design community.
• Meet revenue, conversion, client retention, and other sales performance goals.
• Guide product selection, space planning, and styling using interior design expertise.
• Manage the client lifecycle through CRM tools and outreach strategies.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and stay current on products, trends, and industry developments.

Requirements

• Experience in retail sales, design consulting, or customer success is preferred.
• Background in interior design, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong client needs assessment, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and design tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar software.
• Ability to lift 20+ lbs and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
