Director, Product Operations (AI)

Location: Remote in Ontario, Canada

Salary: $155,000–$171,400 CAD annually, plus potential bonuses, commissions, equity, or other incentives.

What you will do

• Advise the CPO and CTO on organizational priorities, portfolio trade-offs, long-range planning, executive reviews, and strategic decisions.
• Establish planning frameworks and maintain a portfolio view across product lines, including capacity, dependencies, sequencing, metrics, and business outcomes.
• Run the product operating cadence, including roadmap reviews, delivery check-ins, risk and decision forums, status reporting, and retrospectives.
• Drive AI-native ways of working across Product and Design, including prompt libraries, decision frameworks, reusable internal skills, automation, tooling adoption, and responsible-use guardrails.
• Lead operational readiness and market delivery for major releases in coordination with Product Marketing, GTM, and Product Launch teams.
• Manage and develop the Product PMO and product launch team while supporting organizational design, headcount planning, financial visibility, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, strategy or business operations, or a Chief of Staff-type role in SaaS or technology organizations.
• Experience supporting senior executives, leading executive-level planning and reporting, and managing complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience managing and developing a team, preferably in Product Operations, Program Management, or PMO.
• Strong business acumen, analytical and synthesis skills, facilitation ability, stakeholder management, discretion, and professionalism.
• Fluency with product tooling such as Jira, analytics and experimentation platforms, and data-driven decision-making.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted workflows, plus a track record of driving AI adoption. Bachelor's degree required.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-growth B2B SaaS, vertical SaaS, or fitness and wellness technology.
• Background in management consulting, strategy and operations, or senior program leadership.
• Experience creating AI enablement assets such as prompt libraries, playbooks, or internal tools.
• Familiarity with Voice of Customer platforms, experimentation platforms, and product analytics.
