Employee Relations Manager (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid role based in Dallas, Texas, USA, with a combination of in-office and remote work

Salary: $85,000–$92,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage employee relations matters, including workplace complaints, investigations, performance concerns, disciplinary actions, and sensitive team member issues.
• Conduct objective workplace investigations, including interviews, documentation, findings, and recommendations.
• Coach managers on performance management, corrective action, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and employment decisions.
• Partner with HR, operations, legal, and compliance stakeholders on complex or high-risk matters.
• Identify employee relations trends and provide recommendations to improve retention, engagement, and the team member experience.
• Support employment policy development, agency inquiries, audits, organizational growth, change management, and mergers and acquisitions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 3 years of employee relations experience, including independently managing investigations and complex employee matters.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR practices; multi-state workforce experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience coaching managers through performance management, corrective action, conflict resolution, and sensitive employment situations.
• Strong judgment, communication, organization, confidentiality, business acumen, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, and experience with HR information systems.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or organizational integrations.
• Healthcare or multi-site operations experience.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
