Analyst II, Credit (Fintech)

Location: Remote UK

Salary: £66,000–£76,000 per year

What you will do

• Assess brand, compliance, fraud, identity, and financial risk for new and existing merchants.
• Determine merchant credit exposure using business credit reports, financial documents, payment processor statements, investigative tools, and market data.
• Research and introduce new third-party data sources for merchant risk assessment.
• Monitor merchant credit, fraud, disputes, and chargeback trends on an ongoing basis.
• Partner with Sales, Business Development, and other cross-functional teams on risk decisions.
• Provide guidance for automating and improving merchant risk evaluation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in merchant or seller risk management, fraud, collections, or merchant underwriting.
• Experience assessing merchant financial risk in e-commerce, payments, lending, banking, or a related financial institution.
• Experience reviewing financial documents, business credit reports, and payment processor statements.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners, especially Sales and Business Development.
• Strong ownership, accountability, urgency, and execution skills.
• Ability to work remotely from the UK.
