2027 Risk and Accounting Advisory Services Consulting Internship

Location: United States; principally in-person with flexibility under the Workplace for Your Day model. Some local, national, and occasional international travel may be required.

What you will do

• Support enterprise risk services, including internal audit, SOX and JSOX compliance, enterprise risk management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Document and test client internal control environments and identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Develop risk-assessment models and methodologies and prepare reports, presentations, proposals, and engagement letters.
• Assist with client accounting support and research markets, tools, and technology.
• Support post-merger integration of accounting activities and short-term accounting engagements.
• Help clients implement new technical accounting standards and collaborate with audit, tax, wealth management, and consulting practices.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Detail-oriented approach with problem-solving, communication, critical-thinking, organizational, technical, and analytical skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Work hours may exceed the standard 40-hour work week.

Nice to have

• Progress toward the educational requirements to sit for the CPA or CIA exam.
• Goal of obtaining the CPA or CIA license.
• Bilingual Japanese and English or Chinese and English candidates may qualify for an exception to the sponsorship requirement.
