Quality Control Inspector (Aerospace)

Location: Kinston, North Carolina, United States; onsite in outdoor, industrial, and aircraft hangar environments

What you will do

• Complete assigned inspections in accordance with the General Maintenance Manual, company procedures, and applicable FAA regulations.
• Inspect aircraft components, materials, tooling, hardware, maintenance work, and repair quality.
• Conduct receiving and Required Inspection Item inspections, and ensure deficiencies are corrected.
• Review maintenance forms, parts tags, job cards, log pages, and tally sheets for compliance.
• Oversee aircraft handling activities including jacking, fueling, defueling, and towing to maintain safety and prevent property damage.
• Perform aircraft weight and balance analyses using approved manuals and scales.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States and provide two forms of federal identification.
• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required.
• At least 6 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.
• Extensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems, FAA regulations, IPM, and ATA codes.
• Clear English reading, speaking, and communication skills are required. The role includes a background check and pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing under FAA safety-sensitive requirements.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of Quality Control Inspector experience in MRO or aerospace.
• At least 10 years of corporate jet experience or equivalent knowledge and skills.
• Inspection Authorization certification.
• Prior experience with Corridor.
• Scissor lift or forklift certification.
