IT Administrator (Power BI)

Location: Romeoville, Illinois, USA. The role operates in office, warehouse, and manufacturing environments, with occasional travel between company locations and possible after-hours support.

Salary: USD 60,000–80,000 per year

What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, and monitor servers, networks, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and Windows infrastructure.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for office and production environments, including hardware, software, connectivity, devices, accounts, and permissions.
• Implement endpoint protection, MFA, vulnerability management, security monitoring, system updates, backups, and disaster recovery testing.
• Support ERP systems, MES platforms, barcode scanners, shop floor PCs, production technologies, and integrations with business systems.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models, visualizations, and automated reports for operations, quality, inventory, production, and leadership.
• Coordinate vendors and IT projects, evaluate technology solutions, maintain documentation, licensing, and asset inventories, and support virtualization environments.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of IT administration or systems support experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and Power BI dashboard and report development.
• Knowledge of data analysis, data modeling, and SQL.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical, customer service, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to move and install IT equipment weighing up to 40 pounds and work in office, warehouse, and manufacturing environments.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing environment experience.
• Knowledge of DAX, Power Query, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, or other cloud platforms.
• Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+, Security+, or CCNA certification.
