IT Specialist

Location: Romeoville, Illinois, United States; on-site

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 gross annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Provide advanced support for Windows desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Support LAN, WAN, WiFi, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy environments.
• Troubleshoot industrial printers, RF handheld scanners, and warehouse technology.
• Maintain WiFi coverage and performance across warehouse and production areas.
• Participate in IT projects, upgrades, migrations, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Manage IT incidents, changes, problems, documentation, vendors, and CMDB asset records.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of computers and end-user devices.
• Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and WiFi.
• Experience with Windows Server environments and IT service management tools such as ServiceNow.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems support; CompTIA certifications such as A+ or Network+ are relevant.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zebra or Lexmark industrial printers and RF devices in warehouse settings.
• Experience with Cisco managed switches and enterprise WiFi solutions.
• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
