Computer and Information Systems Administrator (Biotech)

Location: On-site in Lexington, Massachusetts, United States

Annual salary: $80,000–$100,000, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Provide first- and second-level technical support through phone, in-person, and online channels.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, peripherals, operating systems, network components, and business applications.
• Identify and implement hardware and software solutions, including application customization.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors, escalating complex technical issues when needed.
• Support user productivity through network connectivity, system and application training, communication, and continuous service improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least three years of system administration experience in Windows environments.
• Experience maintaining users and computers in Windows Active Directory; Linux experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple support requests, projects, and priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining data security and confidentiality, and to lift or carry equipment up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have

• Basic PowerShell scripting experience.
• Basic Atlassian knowledge.
