V.I.E Network Planner Fiber Optic Expansion (all gender)

Location: Cologne, Germany; Region: Nordrhein-Westfalen. Mobile working is possible, but the role is based in Germany.

What you will do

• Plan and document copper and fiber optic networks based on installed technology.
• Design network routes and verify their completeness and correctness.
• Equip, measure, and adjust cable distributors.
• Document the complete planning process.
• Communicate with responsible site managers.

Requirements

• EU citizenship and age between 18 and 28 in line with the V.I.E. programme requirements.
• Degree in communications engineering, civil engineering, geodesy, geoinformatics, geography, or a comparable qualification such as a state-certified technician.
• Practical experience in network documentation and planning or pipeline networks such as electricity, water, or gas.
• Experience with Megaplan, QGIS, ArcGIS, CableScout, AutoCAD, Connectmaster, or similar tools.
• Good written and spoken German.
